Some ladies weren’t happy I got married –OC Ukeje

                                                                 OC Ukeje

He used to be one of the hottest eligible bachelors in town but it seems OC Ukeje broke the hearts of many when he married his girlfriend few months ago.

In fact, the award-winning actor told Saturday Beats that he got hate messages from many female fans when he got married.

“I got so many hate messages from female fans. We get messages like that every day but you do not know who is serious and who is joking. I just take all of them at face value and move on because at the end of the day, they are just fans.”

Although his wife is based in Canada, the young man said the distance is not an issue to them as they had discussed about it at length before they finally tied the knot.

“I cannot complain. Things are off on a good start. I am a happy man and I intend to stay like this for the rest of my life and I think my wife has made an honest man out of me. We spoke about the distance between us before we got married. It is something that must be addressed. I do my best to stay faithful to the one that I decided to remain faithful to for the rest of my life. We do our best to stay in touch with each other every day so that we would know what we are up to. We make sure we stay in constant touch with each other,” he said.

At a time where celebrity marriage crashes seem to be the trend in the industry, the newly wedded young man said he has put God first in his relationship and nothing can go wrong.

“God is the most important factor to put in place first. If you have an agreement with God and pick the right woman in your perspective, then nothing can go wrong. I don’t know how people choose their spouses but I chose my partner for many good reasons and I am happy with it. Asides from staying faithful, I remember that I am an actor when I am acting and I am a husband also. I set aside all my ego and accomplishment and we make sure that our marriage must work. Those are the only things you need to put in place,” Ukeje said.
