Popular music channel, MTV Africa has released its top 20 greatest Naija songs of all time.
Although many great songs are missing on the list, it still penned down some of Nigeria’s great songs from the past. The list is more of the last 10 years than ‘of all time’ due to some other gret songs that are missing..The likes of Fela, Femi, Daniel Wilson, Iyanya, African China and many more.
However, some minutes after the list was publicized, Nigerian singer, Iyanya, took to his Twitter page to react about the list, wondering why his ‘kukere’ song did not make the list. He tweeted: ‘So kukere is not among 20 top Nigeria’s songs of all time?? LOL, wonders shall never end…Ahead, ahead!’
