Rosamund Pike to star in The Mountain Between Us


Los Angeles - Rosamund Pike is in talks to star in The Mountain Between Us.

The Gone Girl actress is said to have entered into early negotiations to appear in the Fox 2000 and Chernin

Entertainment adaptation of Charlie Martin's novel, which follows two plane crash victims as they attempt to survive in the mountains.

The 35-year-old actress is thought to be joining
Sons of Anarchy actor Charlie Hunnam to take on the starring roles, reports Variety.

Hany Abu-Assad is directing while J. Mills Goodloe and Scott Frank have penned the script.

Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and David Reading have signed on to produce the film which will start shooting towards the end of 2015.

The pair will also appear together in Knights of the Round Table early next year, in which Charlie plays the legendary King Arthur.

Meanwhile, Rosamund - who has two-year-old son Solo with her mathematical researcher husband Robert Uniacke - is also expecting her second child early next year.
