Entrepreneur to Sell Ebola.com domain for $150,000


A self-proclaimed “domain entrepreneur” is planning on selling the www.ebola.com domain for $150,000.

The man, Jon Schultz, specializes in buying disease domains and selling them for large amounts of money.

In addition to the Ebola.com domain, Daily Mail reports that Schultz also owns: H1N1.com, birdflu.com, terror.com, PotassiumIodide.com, fukushima.com, and others.

Mark Zuckerberg Donates $25 Million to CDC to help Fight Ebola


Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla, are donating $25 million to the Centers for Disease Control Foundation to help in the fight against Ebola.

He made the announcement today via his Facebook page:

Priscilla and I are donating $25 million to the Centers for Disease Control Foundation to help fight Ebola.

The Ebola epidemic is at a critical turning point. It has infected 8,400 people so far, but it is spreading very quickly and projections suggest it could infect 1 million people or more over the next several months if not addressed.

Desmond Elliot Organizes Youth Interactive Session For His Campaign!


When the news first broke of Nollywood actor Desmond Elliot going into politics and campaigning for a seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly 2015, a lot of people were skeptical.

The 40-year-old actor is however not letting that hold him back and is currently organizing a youth interactive session with the theme “Today’s Youth, Today’s Leaders: Our Tomorrow Is Today”.
The actor has also released a new batch of campaign photos, making sure to include his Yoruba name, Olusola. 

Strike over Ebola pay hits Liberia hospitals


Hospitals and health care facilities have been affected in Liberia as some nurses and medical professionals staged a walkout demanding better pay and safer working conditions in the fight against the deadly Ebola virus.

Sources told Al Jazeera that several hospitals and clinics were hit by the strike on Monday as health workers abandonded hundreds of patients, demanding higher hazard pay and protective equipment.
