Flavour is my favourite artiste –Beverly Ukegbu

Beverly Ukegbu

Background

My name is Beverly Ukegbu. I am from Imo State and a final year student of the University of Houston-Downtown. My act was known as Beverly Heels but I did away with Heels   because I have evolved. I’m not the same person I was four years ago. A lot has happened and a lot has changed about me. I am studying broadcast journalism with a minor in theatre. I have lived in America all of my life but I visit Nigeria often.

I’m not a womaniser – Harrysong

                                                                                Harrison Okiri aka Harrysong

Delta State-born musician, Harrison Okiri aka Harrysong is currently signed on to Five Star Music. He talks about his career and life

Which of your songs has given you the most fame?

They all did well. I am in love with all of them, but I think it started from

Better Pikin upwards.

The challenges before President Buhari

                                                                                               FESTUS ODIMEGWU

The topic of this intervention recommended itself as it is very evident that Nigerians want change. It is also very clear to the discerning that majority will vote for Buhari to save Nigeria from bad leadership and under-performing administration. The contrived postponement of the election also attests to this. And the international community supports this. This is good for our democracy in many ways and good for Nigerians.

President Jonathan is therefore better advised to conduct a free and fair election. Any other planned election manipulation projects should be shelved, as the dark forces lurking even within the administration can hijack and truncate the nascent democracy and tip the current groundswell in the country into avoidable crisis.

My husband died on Valentine’s Day

As the funeral service began, Sarah wept. If only Tamuno could wake up and forgive her. If only she could tell him she did everything because of her love for him. “Dust unto dust, ashes to ashes,” the priest said performing the rites. Funeral over, she entered the car with her children and recalled what led to her husband’s death.

Tamuno and Sarah had been married for six years without children. Though Tamuno was not bothered, Sarah was. An astute banker, he loved his wife and believed that the absence of children should not mar the joy of their marriage. But his wife did not think so. She went from one doctor to the other, ran various tests and was confirmed fertile. The same was said of her husband and they were advised to be hopeful.

INTERVIEW -- Marriage changed me –Mercy Johnson

                                                                                 Mercy Johnson-Okojie & hubby

The beautiful love story of Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson, and husband, Odianosen Okojie, is one that reinforces the saying, ‘true love conquers all.’ In their most candid interview yet, the couple opens up on the thrills of marriage

How did you meet each other?

Odi: I met Mercy for the first time in 2008 on a flight from France. We both flew Business Class and I asked for her number but she refused. She was very down-to-earth even as a celebrity. I know how a lot of them behave but she is different. Being very focused and a go-getter, I did everything I could just to have her including her number after I set my eyes on her.
