Nicki Minaj stuns on the cover of the November issue of GQ mag


Nicki Minaj is a goddess on the cover of the November issue of GQ Magazine. Speaking to the magazine, Nicki admitted that “Anaconda” video is about female power and control;

“I think the video is about what girls do. Girls love being with other girls, and when you go back to us being younger, we would have slumber parties and we’d be dancing with our friends. 'She' - Nicki’s character in the video - “is just talking about two guys that she dated in the past and what they’re good at and what they bought her and what they said to her. It’s just cheeky, like a funny story.”

Iconic Easy Rider chopper sells for $1.35m


Los Angeles - The iconic Harley-Davidson chopper-style motorbike ridden by Peter Fonda in the 1969 classic Easy Rider film sold for $1.35m at auction this weekend, organisers said on Sunday.
The Captain America bike, complete with authenticating documents including a letter from Fonda, was sold late on Saturday at entertainment industry auction house Profiles in History, said spokesperson Sabrina Propper.

Australia to join anti-ISIS fight


Baghdad - Australia has reached an agreement with Iraq for its special forces to support Iraqi forces in their fight against Islamic State, Foreign Minister Julie Bishop said on Sunday.

"We have reached an agreement for a legal framework and now it will be a matter for our military when our special forces will be deployed," Bishop said at the conclusion of a two-day trip to Baghdad that included meetings with senior Iraqi officials.
