Prison break in Kogi state, 144 freed, 1 inmate killed, 12 re-arrested


Gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram members yesterday night November 2nd attacked Koton-Karfi federal prison in Kogi state, freeing 144 inmates. One inmate was reportedly killed during the prison break.

5 PDP members die in boat accident in Bayelsa state


Five members of the Peoples Democratic Party lost their lives on Saturday November 1st after a boat they were riding in capsized in the Ekeremor water ways in Bayelsa state.

The party members were on their way to Yenogoa from Ekeremor Local government area where they had gone for the state PDP ward congress. Above is a scene of the accident. Continue...
According to Sahara Reporters, an ex-deputy governor of the state, Chief Peremobowei Ebebi, and 6 others who were all occupants of the boat were rescued by local divers, while 5 of the party members died.

Beyonce set to drop a new secret album?


There are rumours that Beyonce is about to drop a new secret album, a year after she pulled the same stunt.

The rumours started after a piece of paper (pictured right) with logos from Beyonce's Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records with info about featured artists, date of release (Nov. 14th), was leaked online. Beyonce's camp have neither confirmed nor denied the rumors.

Russia dismantles Apple statue after CEO comes out as gay


I said it when Apple CEO Tim Cook came out as gay that there might be consequences, unfortunately it has started. A human-sized iPhone statue featuring a screen that displays a photo and video tribute to Apple Inc founder, Steve Jobs, which was erected in St Petersburg, Russia in 2013, was dismantled by the people who put it up, a day after Apple CEO, Tim Cook, came out as gay.
