Oscar Pistorius Has Been Paying Steenkamp Family Since the Shooting


 Convicted paralympian Oscar Pistorius has been making financial payments to the family of Reeva Steenkamp, the girlfriend he killed last Valentine's Day, since shortly after the fatal shooting and he intends to set up a trust fund for the family once the sentencing is over, according to testimony at his sentencing trial today.

The financial revelation came as a probation officer warned the court that if the legless Pistorius is sentenced to prison he would be vulnerable to attacks by other inmates, particularly if his prosthetic legs were taken away from him.

Keshi Alleges Sabotage on Super Eagles


Stephen Keshi, the Super Eagles Head Coach on Monday raised alarm over plans by some individuals to sabotage the team’s qualifying campaign for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The Eagles on Saturday lost to Sudan 0-1 in a match they needed to win, thereby endangering Nigeria’s qualification for the AFCON 2015.

Berlin Bar shut down over Ebola Prank


Apparently, joking about having Ebola is fast becoming a trend.

First it was the African American passenger on a plane who joked about having the disease. And now, NAN reports that a Berlin bar was sealed off  after a man called emergency services to say he had Ebola.

The incident happened on Sunday and firefighters and police were called for what turned out to be a prank.
