Rwandan Senate President Resigns after being Accused of Incompetence
The President of the Rwandan Senate, Jean-Damascene Ntawukuriryayo, resigned on Wednesday after he was accused of incompetence.

Pres. Jonathan Defends Sept. 22 Schools’ Resumption Date
President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday defended the Sept. 22 school resumption date, saying there was currently no case of the disease in the country to warrant extension of the holiday.
