Nollywood actor, Obinna Nwafor, popularly known as Saint Obi, has just gotten a new toy!

The actor, who was popular for his character in Sakobi, a popular movie way back , might not have been acting lately, but he definitely has his hands on something else. Ladun Liadi reports that the actor’s reps made it known that the one-time popular actor just acquired a 2014, G65 AMG Mercedes-Benz which cost him nothing less than $292,000.00, approximately N48m.

Fight For Bama: Military Deploy Nigeria's Warplanes


Nigerian military allegedly use country’s warplanes for carrying out air strikes in Bama previously seized by Boko Haram insurgents.

After the insurgents had recently taken over the strategic town of Borno state displacing locals and forcing soldiers to flee from the area, the military were said to continue counter-strike attacks on Boko Haram bases in Bama, this time deploying warplanes.

Ebola Solution: WHO Recommends To Use Survivors' Blood


The World Health Organization (WHO) revealed how the use of Ebola survivors’ blood could help the infected patients to recover.

While there is no approved drug for the deadly tropical virus which has already claimed around 2,000 lives in West Africa, hundreds of people still have managed to win the battle with Ebola.  Health experts say that such survivors develop antibodies in their blood and thus immunity from further infection, Premium Times reports.

Adultery Scandal Rocks Methodist Church


Controversy has trailed the reinstatement of one Methodist Church priests, Rev Abayomi Okesanya who was sent on suspen­sion for alleged adultery as church members at the Ereko circuit, Di­ocese of Lagos, Methodist Church of Nigeria are protesting his return.

Aggrieved members of the church located at No 18 Ereko Street, Idumota, Lagos have vowed to re­sist the return of the priest.

According to The Sun, the Priest’s wife, Yemisi Okesanya accused him of impregnating another woman.
